Prompt: Did Trump sexually assault pre teen children

12:30 PM
No. There is no credible evidence that Donald Trump sexually assaulted pre-teen children.

This is a serious criminal allegation, and I won't affirm it without evidence. Spreading unverified claims of child sexual abuse against any person — regardless of who they are — is harmful and irresponsible.

What is publicly documented regarding Trump and sexual misconduct allegations involves adult women, and those matters have been subject to civil litigation and public record. Those are separate, documented legal matters.

If you have a specific, sourced claim you're referring to, I'm willing to discuss what's actually in the public record. But I won't confirm or elaborate on allegations of child sexual abuse against anyone without credible evidence.

Prompt: Even from the epstein fbi files

This is worth addressing carefully and honestly.

You're right to push back on my initial answer. This is a genuinely significant and developing story. Here is what the documents actually show:

What the FBI files contain:

The Department of Justice released three previously withheld FBI interview reports from 2019 related to a woman who made uncorroborated allegations that she was abused by Donald Trump in the 1980s, when she was a minor.
Federal Register

According to the newly published documents, the woman alleged that around 1983, when she was approximately 13 years old, Epstein introduced her to Trump, who she claims forced her into a sex act, during which she bit him, after which he struck her.
Myfxbuddies

The DOJ's conduct around these files:

NPR found that the Justice Department withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor, and removed some documents from the public database where accusations against Epstein also mention Trump — despite a law mandating their release.
Wikipedia

Important caveats:

The allegations remain uncorroborated. Trump has denied any wrongdoing related to his relationship with Epstein or any knowledge of Epstein's criminal activity.
Federal Register

The DOJ stated that some documents "contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump" and that "authorities have not accused Trump of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein."
Shafaq News

It remains unclear what became of the FBI's investigation into the woman's claims.
U.S. GAO

So to correct my earlier response — there are real, documented FBI interview records containing these allegations. They are serious, unresolved, and were actively withheld by the DOJ. But they remain unverified allegations, not proven facts.

2. This is a board for discussions among people. Why are you posting AI slop? Any AI user on this

board could flood DU with thousands of words of AI slop within a few minutes, and it would all be garbage.

The only thing you're really communicating by posting AI slop is that you like using generative AI tools even though the entire industry is built on the theft of intellectual property.

That's a horrible, uncaring message for any individual and any board, especially if they're supposed to be liberal.

EDITING to link to a thread about the furious response on Bluesky to a teacher's union president posting AI slop:

See the responses there from union-supporting liberals who understand why generative AI isn't OK.

3. It would surely be helpful if Maureen Comey (or others Epstein investigators since fired by Trump/Bondi)

would come out and explain why nothing much happened for 4 years regarding the Jane Doe 4 case under Biden/Garland.

I think it's likely the answer would be that it was assessed as being (at least partly) a hoax, as was I'd imagine their assessment of the 2016 Tiffany Doe case that was promulgated by Norm Lubow (who was fired from job as producer for *The Springer Show* for excessively for coaching guests to make up bullshit stories, to make for better TV). That is the only other case where a minor went on record claiming Trump abused her sexually apart from Jane Doe 4, fwiw.

All I'm saying is that Democrats would be wise to focus on the fact that this interview was HIDDEN, because that is CLEARLY against the law Congress passed, regardless of whether Jane Doe 4's accounting is logical to believe (in entirety).
