I guess it just happened. It needs to be covered on other platforms including cable news. I can't watch because I am too squeamish, but is it confirmed that the protestor's bone was broken?

Capitol Police were attempting to remove an unhinged protestor from the Armed Services hearing. He was fighting back. I decided to help out and deescalate the situation.

This gentleman came to the Capitol looking for a confrontation, and he got one. I hope he gets the help he needs without causing further violence.

It sure didn't look like he was trying to deescalate. And what an absolute ghoul to break the hand of a marine and then taunt him.

That is NOT deescalation. It’s battery, at minimum. Possibly aggravated assault. Have to verify with my brother (retired Raleigh PD lieutenant). But it’s definitely a crime.

how BRAVE they can be, when it is at least FOUR TO ONE.........Usually it is 10-20 ICE and Border Patrol agents to ONE demonstrator.....AND, normally they like picking on women, and pacifists.......

I am nauseated. I hope this haunts him. Hes POS who shot himself in the arm and claimed he was injured in battle. Another lying rethug.

In other news, MT Senator Steve Daines has dropped out of the race. Zinke too. Something big is going down.

Not to be regionalist. I remember the incident with Gianforte, and he got away with it as well.

I am so discussed with the R's in Montana. I grew up with honorable men serving like Mike Mansfield, Lee Metcalf. This state is so very different now it breaks my heart.

while the initial confrontation is bad enough, the hits keep on coming in the longer version, such as when the woman filming pans the room and you see a room full of military brass staring forward, refusing to even acknowledge one of their marines being brutalized for speaking. then later, once he's freed from the door, watching the idiot thugs, who don't fucking know their right from left, wrench his broken arm behind his back in an attempt to make him comply. there is no limit to the pain they are willing to inflict to restrict speech, and no limit to what they will do to ignore protests of their actions.
