Whoever wins gets my dollars.
Whoever wins shall get every last vote that can be gotten in the midterms
Whoever wins needs the support of every freedom loving person in the United States of America.
Whoever wins doesn't need the PUMA or I didn't get my pony bullshit.
You back whichever candidate wins either with a vote if you're a Texan or with money if you're not.

(36,258 posts)I'm in Houston. I've seen polls go back and forth, this one's wide open.
The good news I can give you, esp. if you're not a Texan, is that so far, we've had more people request blue ballots than red in this primary. That's pretty much unheard of down here.

(36,258 posts)we're not used to everyone asking for a dem ballot! Open primary here so that's exciting no matter who "wins". Taking on Paxton/Cornyn is the harder job, and we will need all hands on deck for sure.

but, no. Just $$. And moral support.

(16,148 posts)That the Republican party in Texas has been urging their folks to vote for Crockett, because they think she will be easier to beat in the general election.
We shall see.

(36,258 posts)I'm in Ron Paul's old district and I do hear republican scuttlebutt down here believe it or not ...
although it's fun to be lectured to by folks in other states

(16,148 posts)But you're right that I don't live in Texas. I have seen reporting to that effect. That's all.

(3,782 posts)When you say "whoever wins doesn't need the PUMA or I didn't get my pony bullshit" do you mean from Crockett supporters?
paleotn
(21,946 posts)Clear, no? Dems sometimes have a bad habit of f'ing themselves with petty whining.
It never seems to apply to supporters of moderate candidates.
TBF
(36,258 posts)it's a common refrain that comes along with a certain endorsement today. We'll see what happens.
