This alone should have been disqualifying, never mind all the rest of the things that make him utterly unfit for the post he holds.
addiction makes people do terrible things, and it's good he got help.......I think openness about addiction by famous people can help others who are struggling
BUT......the problem here is he is equating that experience as proof germs aren't that bad - if he was an average person I'd just dismiss him as a kook but THIS kook is head U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - that is FUCKING SCARY
