Thune is expected to put forth a CR for DHS funding today, Schumer and Senate Democrats have said they will not pass it

The White House has been the only one negotiating with Schumer and Senate Democrats and they are refusing to put any restrictions on ICE and how ICE is operating. The con and Republicans are not being serious.

No Democrat should vote for any short term extention of funding for DHS until the con and Republicans put restrictions on their lawless and deadly ICE operation.

The things that will not receive funding (example - TSA) need to suffer so that we can stop this paramilitary. If we don't - we are done.

We’re 3 days away from a DHS shutdown and Republicans have not gotten serious about negotiating a solution that reins in ICE and stops the violence. Democrats will not support a CR to extend the status quo.
