Clinging to the incumbency was the mistake of Joe Biden and/or the people around him as well as the Democratic Party sages who believed that the incumbency was too valuable a resource to risk relinquishing in an open primary.

Let's have a little honest self-reflection here, regardless of the ultimate mistake everyone can see that the voters made in choosing Trump the Termite King to plunder and dismantle the national government.

Said people believed Biden would be a better President than trump. Maybe Biden would have won . Maybe all those who pushed Biden out were wrong and he would have won. Many that didn't vote cited the reason was that Harris was not correctly nominated.

We don't know.
