IF it's found that the son-in-law of Nancy Guthrie was involved

with her abduction and she's harmed (or dies) from this act, could the motivation be that he was in financial straits and believed he would inherit from her death?

And then he discovers that if you caused someone's death and you're in the Will, you get NOTHING!
