Was underestimating trump and the stupidity of Americans.

Should have smashed that bug with everything we had.

Maxwell was prosecuted under Biden and the SDNY had an open case against the co conspirators that Pam Blondie shut down.

Why have we let this go on for so long? Was there not one good person that would speak out? What has happened with the FBI? I’m just sick. Are there that many people that thought it was okay?

scandal of disgusting proportions. It was also a treasonous plot against the US. And probably still is.

But from what has come out, I just don’t see anything yet that’s really actionable. They said they are withholding documentation that is being used for litigation, but everything I’m seeing in emails etc is just….juicy…but here say and not proven. Gates VD is embarrassing, but that’s it. Clinton in the swimming pool and hot tub…embarrassing…but not illegal. The Trump mentions so far are somewhat ambiguous or not backed with evidence.

I think my point is, maybe they did go through it, but didn’t have firm evidence to do anything?

as well as Age of Consent complications (which is 16 or 17 in over 2/3'rds of the states), as well as issues with the fact that most sex crimes are state-level crimes (the Feds have jurisdiction only in specific circumstances), as well as budgeting issues because trying to take down a rich/powerful person for an alleged sex crime is going to end up very expensive because they will have very competent lawyers.

And then there's the problem that the girls wouldn't have been, like, given the men's business cards or phone numbers. Ergo, proving "identities" period could've been a stumbling block in many cases. "Old guy, between 60 and 90, overweight, thinning grey hair, wore glasses" probably isn't going to suffice in an indictment.

And on top of all that, Federal prosecutors are well-known for NOT wanting to bring cases unless they're pretty damn certain they can win them.

Put it all together, and it isn't THAT surprising that only Epstein and Maxwell themselves were ever indicted, imho. And it is not evidence of "corruption" on the part of the DoJ.

At least, not when Obama/Biden were in charge.

That's not nothing. It is the normal use of their files. Not to mention, the first group of emails came from the Epstein estate, not the DOJ.

They were also under seal during most of the Biden administration. Judges began unsealing records only in 2024. So they were not in a position to be able to do anything under either administration. I believe ALL Epstein recors were unsealed by the courts as of February 2025. The Trump administration is the only administration that has had the ability to release the files, and of course Trump promised to do just that (which was always a lie to try to persuade some otherwise reluctant voters to vote for him).
