Personally, Im detecting a harder edge than before. Even what little Ive seen of Morning Joe, which I used to watch daily but not recently, looks better. The weekend could stand a little beefing up, but Im liking what Im seeing overall.

(67,897 posts)I have to laugh, tho. Joe and Mika made a bad decision in going down to there not once but twice. Now he and Mika look stupid for doing so.

(113,150 posts)Of course the shows I watch (or listen to on Tune-In streaming) are not really the ones who would "hold back" or try to please the RW.

(5,148 posts)They have brilliant and professional anchors and hosts. They have such smart and communicative experts and pundits.
They cultivated some really special journalists to become part of the already strong team.
There are a few weak links.
Alyse Jordan on the weekend is difficult to watch.
Catherine Rampell still a little rough around the edges. She was a better as a researcher/news reporter.
I think the Weekend morning show would benefit from losing Jonathan Capeheart. He is a wobbly speaker, and giggles too much.
On the other hand, Jackie Alemany was a good add to the network.
I know some people like her, but I can do without Symone Sanders Townsend. She takes too long to ask a question. I sometimes yell out - shut up Symone. Her voice is annoying. She is too much about making it about her.
My least favorite pundit is John Kasich. Make him go away...please.
