I had to zoom in using a photo editor. The face is actually a photograph and I think it's Pam Bondi.

He made her look like a Charles Burns character, and that's perfect.

They draw the truth.

These are powerful and visceral and damning of power. Even in the days of Nixon or Reagan or Brush/Cheney did the 'toonists have to rise to meet this very real threat.

Yet I also, again, become somewhat inured. I shouldn't. I should recognize that we are in extraordinary times and the columnists/bloggers/cartoonists are rising to meet the challenges.
