Anyone who’s ever really known a five year old, you know how very deeply bonded they become to various objects and if those objects go missing the despair they feel is both genuine and intense. The stupid cruelty of taking these objects away from him was also genuine and intense.

Probably the most important developmental phase there is in human growth. The explosion of neurological connections that take place around the age of five is exponentially expansive.

This experience could very well affect everything in his life in overwhelming ways for the rest of his life.

I deeply hope that they, he especially, get the medical and emotional support services that are no less deserved than necessary. America owes them.

I had a personal issue during COVID and contacted his office. They acted. They helped. I didn't get a voicemail when I called. I got a person. They talked to me and told me what they could and would do - and they did it.
