Then when the talks are about to begin he has them escorted out supposedly for lunch.

I knew him. We live in that district he used to have.
Nice guy, but agree with him on very few things, politically.
But, he dropped his official status as an R, and joined the D party. (Not that I would want him as a dem.)

No one should be able to see behavior in themselves, realize it's depravity/ wrong headedness and completely change one's point of view? Not to be able to decry past posts or actions and say....hey, I see what you've ( the other side ) been saying and you're right!!! Now I see the problems from a different perspective and I need to change both my tune and my voice........
Kinzinger deserves at least an acknowledgement that his seeing the depravity of the repugs and voices loud opposition to their hypocrisy.

Cost him. He's even estranged from his family around here, because they are kool-aid drinkers. One of his motivations to move to Texas was to remove himself from his name-dropping relatives to fend for themselves now that they're nobodies again.
A golf buddy ran into his parents 5 or so years ago. This guy is middle of the road & even he was shocked at what privileged tools they were.

and I believe I read he moved to Texas recently. IDK if he plans to run again, but I wouldn't be surprised if he runs as an independent. I think it shook him up pretty bad when he was pushed out of DC.
