more than doubled for 2026.
I'd go with a lower plan but the trade-off is finding a pharmacy that takes that plan.

(908 posts)... from a Canadian pharmacy. They are great to deal with, seamless experience all around. They also do what they can to deal with tariffs. Before they took effect, the pharmacy started offering to max out your prescription at the current price ... I received a year's supply of my med at the pre-tariff price. Hopefully this will settle down when it's time to renew, but even a the current price it's well worth it.
My doc was skeptical about quality, so we did a blood test and the med level came in exactly where it should be.
The pharmacy is certified by multiple Canadian associations, such as CIPA.

(71,463 posts)That is around $400 every month back in our hands...I have had three hospitalizations and everything was done well. My cardiologists (4) look after me...and I get Jardiance for for free new drug for diabetes but it works with congestive heart failure...United Health has an affordable medicine plan. I pay nothing and hubs and I make a good living.
Amiodarone meds gave me a bad reaction which has caused all the issues (sigh)... but my lungs are healing. The damage is not permanent in the lungs and my heart is fine. I also have to take steroids temporarily...but the point is a give back plan with no premium saves so much money.I bet it would be a couple hundred for both of us in premium...which would make the savings around $600.00 per month. Good luck!

(1,228 posts)Needless to say, I signed up with a different plan. I don't know how rare pharmacies are in your area but you can call an insurance broker to help you out. It's free. Or at least mine is.
