So they're throwing Adm Bradley under the bus? Scapegoating him?

In a way, I don't give a shit.

He committed a war crime. To call him a scapegoat is to give him some sympathy. He deserves no such thing.

I do, however, care about his scapegoating because it casts in a harsh, bright light the horrible leadership that does that to a subordinate. Whiskey Pete gave the criminal order.

In my view, they can both resign and walk out the door. I wish them prosecution.

Although, after the last couple of days of throwing the military under the bus, I don't think it would be a case of "friendly fire".

But if the first one doesn't finish the job, well, we all know what to do.

Doesn't the guy in charge also have an obligation to see to it that a subordinate doesn't do something illegal? Not that Bradley is off the hook, but Kegbreath sure as hell ought to be on that hook with him.

He should seek legal representation.

He should prepare to thoroughly testify in front of The House Armed Services Committee, which is seeking a full accounting of the U.S. military attack on an alleged drug-trafficking boat, esp. the second bombing.

the Military leadership understand completely what is happening here and this situation is not going to go over well with them. There will be payback.
