Even if the MAGAts scream their undying love for him, I don't see Trump doing any more MAGAt "rallies."

He will do some kind of event requiring the least possible amount of effort from him for the highest level of monetization in return, but they won't be regularly scheduled events. They'll be sporadic and rare.

I wish you knew how much it pains me to say "Stephen Miller and Russell Vought are running the country while Trump naps, golfs, plans his "ballroom," and trolls on social media," but...that's not tinfoil hat stuff, that's really where we're at. He's officially a "President In Name Only."

He doesn't need votes from the MAGAts, I think the extent to which he'll "campaign for Republicans" in the midterms will be limited to tweets from his golf carts, and here's the big shocker for you...

...I think the "rush," the "ego boost" that he got at the MAGAt rallies has been replaced by the ass-kissing he gets by just appearing among his wealthy pals at Mar-a-Lago. The whole ballroom thing...his "happy place" is in the center of people with money who will GIVE HIM money. He's on record as having contempt for the MAGAts. He'd RATHER be with people with money.

So he has a coin toss in front of him...go through the logistics and headaches of a MAGAt rally (even though he "personally" handles none of the administrative responsibilities) or GO PLAY GOLF. And by "play golf," that means sitting in a golf cart, drooling and gasping for air in between naps.

I used to feel bad for the local cops who got stiffed on "security detail" for his "rallies. Then, the Police Union endorsed Trump in 2024 and I stopped feeling bad about their getting screwed.

I don't think he's interested in getting out in front of the MAGAts and doing his moron dance, because he doesn't seem to know where he is half the time.

If you want a glimpse of what's coming for Trump, read about the final days of L Ron Hubbard. His Scientology handlers kept him drugged and incapacitated. When he died, they didn't say he died. They said he'd "moved on to the next phase of his journey." There's much more to it than that, but a couple of Google searches will tell all, and I think there's a reasonably good chance that the same fate awaits Trump as the MAGAt vultures circle overhead.
