I Want To Remind People Of A Russian Propaganda Narrative

When you see articles, even from reliable MSM sources, that Ukraine is losing the war, call BS on them.

This is the narrative that Putin is pushing for several reasons.

1. The war has become unpopular with unwashed Russians.
2. All that Putin has is his war economy and every day I read where Ukraine has bombed a Russian refinery. Gasoline is being rationed in Crimea, inflation is growing in Russia, people are grumbling.
3. Russia has suffered 1.16 million casualties since 2022.
4. Russia can't afford to pay its soldiers.
5. Russia is having trouble recruiting cannon fodder. Russian recruiters were arrested in South Africa for recruiting men to fight in Ukraine.
6. Russia is leaving its dead and wounded on the battlefield.
7. Winter is coming.
8. The BIG ONE - Russia wants to use this propaganda to force Ukraine into signing a surrender agreement that is backed by Krasnov.

Ukraine will never surrender.

3. And don't forget the "Russia is winning and Ukraine's loss is inevitable" meme that is being pushed 24/7 ...

…. by the right, much of our media, and the GOP.

Simple peace deal first step, Russia goes home. Anything else is crap.

The Russian written “peace deal” that Trump is pushing has the following:

Ukraine surrenders 20% of its lands to Russia.
Something like 2.5 to 3 million Ukrainian citizens will become permanent subjects of Russian rule.
Russia gets to keep the 25,000 + Ukrainian children they kidnapped.
Russia and Musk get to keep the rare earth minerals that are under Ukrainian land.
Russia gets to walk away from its war crimes.

4. Good points, however you might want to edit for clarity

You make this statement:

This is the narrative that Putin is pushing for several reasons

And then follow it with a list of true statements that are NOT Russian propaganda.

To make clear that “this” refers to the prior statement about propaganda, and not the list of truths that follows, might I suggest you change “this” to “that”.

(Sorry to nitpick your syntax, but clarity of communication is crucial these days)

5. And when someone writes, "we should be using the money for something here at home instead of sending it to Ukraine"

Chances are very good. That’s a Russian bot.

6. Also don't believe it when you read it here from supposed "war experts".

We have someone who has repeatedly said Ukraine should just surrender unconditionally because they have no hope in winning, or at least holding the line, and that the territory taken is really Russia’s anyway. These are pro putin narratives perpetuated by an actual “peace loving” Putinite.

Zelenskyy has to take part in the negotiations to keep on the good side of the United States.

Zelenskyy can't tell Krasnov that his Peace plan is a surrender plan or he will get no help from the US.

Fuck, Ukraine isn't getting any US help now.
