Anyone else having trouble getting USNewsON feed of MSNOW to open reliably ? ETA: LARGELY SOLVED

I've watched a few hours of MSNOW on this link https://usnewson.com/watch/msnbc-live but usually it gives me an error message:
"The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support." When it works, it works fine. I can't tell if some times of day are worse than others -- it seems that it works some day, but not others. When it works, I tend to leave it open all day to avoid the problem recurring.

I'm using Firefox (v145.0.2, continuous upgrade) on an older Mac with OSX 10.15.7 (not supported). I'd like to get my Linux box up and running again if I can ever find the time to fix the hardware, and see if the problem persists on an updated OS.

Right now, it won't open any of the other feeds (CNN, FAUX, OAN) either. I turned off uBlock Origin for the site and it doesn't help.

Try using the browser made by the same company that made the OS ... now I'm embarrassed ... eppur_se_muova Monday #4

usually reliable say 90 percent at least. am on firefox with adblock. sorry u having probs nt msongs Sunday #2

I am not having a problem (beyond the usual) with that feed. Here's another to try... Intractable Sunday #3

-there are things that just won't load/play (at all or at least correctly). So, I'd suggest another browser.

That said, I usually stream that particular stream on my iPad using Safari, and it has periodic "issues," but seems to be working now. I seem to recall it not working well at all last week and used an alternate stream (but one that only works for a bout 30 minutes or so before having to be reloaded).

that I didn't think to try that first. I just don't like a lot of the small misfeatures that come with Safari, so I don't use it except very rarely. Thanks for the tip; it works fine on Safari, even though it's an older version.

I will switch back and forth between the two feeds based on whichever one is problematic.

I use Firefox with U-block.
