Hegseth, responding to the Post report on X, begins with the familiar pining about how all derogatory reporting about the Trump administration is “fake news,” but then doesn’t actually rebut any assertion in the report. He does state:

As we’ve said from the beginning, and in every statement, these highly effective strikes are specifically intended to be “lethal, kinetic strikes.” The declared intent is to stop lethal drugs, destroy narco-boats, and kill the narco-terrorists who are poisoning the American people. [Emphasis added.]

There will be a reckoning, Kegsbreath, along with all the other criminals in this illegal Admin., there will come a day when you have to stand before a jury to answer for your crimes.

In WWII, thousands upon thousands of Germans were captured and sent to US POW camps inside the US to work at jobs, such as farming, construction, etc., to replace Americans who were fighting in Europe and the Pacific and they were treated quite well, during Desert Storm, we captured thousands of Iraqi soldiers and didn't execute them either.

I'll admit we don't have a stellar record since then, but to say every war is false.
