BBC: Playwright and screenwriter Tom Stoppard has died at age 88.

One of Britain’s most popular and successful playwrights of the latter half of the twentieth century, Stoppard authored Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Travesties, The Real Thing, and Arcadia, among many other plays.
