TN-07: Data shows how donors are fueling the 7th Congressional District race

Behn has received $1,230,629 from July 1 to Nov. 12, and Van Epps has received $992,715 from April 1 to Nov. 12.

The data shows the majority of contributions to Behn’s campaign come from grassroots, small-dollar donors, while much of what fuels Van Epps’ campaign comes from large individual donors and political action committees (PACs).

For individual donations smaller than $200, Behn received $603,194 out of her $1.18 million in individual contributions.

Van Epps received 91 percent of his $685,381 in individual contributions from donors giving more than $200.
