1. Trump has eviscerated the Separation of Powers, and with that,

he's severely weakened the process of Checks-And-Balances.

That's the heart of American Democracy.

2. The Founding Fathers envisioned Trump;

what they didn't envision was a political party and a Supreme Court throwing away the Constitution and allowing a president to become dictatorial purely for power, money, and political control.

Look at the TN sp dlection coming up Tursday.

Dem & rethug candidates running neck & neck.

Someone needs to come up with a short messsage to drum it into magat heads that without enablers, tsf would be gone.

8. That's really OUR job and the MEDIA's job and the PUNDITS' and YOUTUBER's jobs...
Fri Nov 28, 2025, 08:53 AM

... our loyal public servants deserve MORE CREDIT for all the things that they ARE doing under these impossible circumstances rather than blaming them "not doing" things that others should do and that would only distract from their actual duties and responsibilities.

Besides, have you not been paying attention? There are PLENTY of elected high-profile Democrats who ARE doing the exact same things you demand... yet the urge and temptation cannot be resisted to smear the entire party for not putting on an entertaining show of anger and outrage in front of the cameras. They can't ALL be Swalwell, Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez. Newsom, Pritzker, Murphy, Waters, Jeffries, James, Crockett, Warren, Walz, Schiff. What more do you want? What exactly are you expecting that would justify such a broad-brush swipe and smear at "the Democrats"?

They deserve our GRATITUDE, not contempt and blame.

Shoot the man? Seriously. "They should say more." They are. You're not listening. You're complaining. What are YOU doing to effect change? Hmmm?

Every time I see trump being responsible for another atrocity I add ‘and all republicans’. I think we should just start writing trump/republican party/republicans.

7. "Making Republicans own everything about Trump is key to a blue Tsunami in November 2026..."

The desired goal should be a blue tsunami not because the voters hate Trump and Republicans but because they support Democratic policies.

9. You're giving the American electorate too much credit.
Fri Nov 28, 2025, 08:57 AM

Look around you sometime. Do you think the vast majority of Americans are as engaged in political discussions or educating themselves on what the Constitution and democracy really mean? All I see are people whose reasons for their choice of votes are so far removed from what they should be; i.e. the parties' policies, or they can't be bothered to vote even when the process is made as simple as possible via mail in or drop off voting.

Fri Nov 28, 2025, 08:58 AM

there's no way to effectively message against it all. And Dems have never had the messaging platform to compete with the GOP.

Perhaps the best simple messages are just "we can do so much better" and "we need a change"

and yet are quick to condemn. They are hammering it home. You're apparently not listening. And you can't JUST rely on them to fix this problem for you. So what the hell are YOU doing? Well, other than complaining about Dems.

13. The Republican Party was loaded with fascists long before Trump joined it.
Fri Nov 28, 2025, 09:07 AM

There's always been a minority within the party who wanted to take permanent power and ignore the constitution. And the rest of the Republicans were always okay with having them around and working with them. Now that the faschies have control, 90% of the other Republicans are going right along, just like they did when Dick Cheney or Dick Nixon crossed constitutional boundaries. The whole party has been building toward this for decades.
