The House would be 235 Dems and the Senate a tossup.

how do I figure that? I looked at the Cook Report and take the districts and move them all 8 points to the Blue, which is a conservative estimate. I then subtract 5 seats from Dems, and come to 235.

The ideal is the wave is large enough to overcome gerrymanders and break some redistricted "Solid-to-Lead Red" districts in Texas, etc.

I'd like a nice 280 house majority.

Your number would be a dream come true. However, I'll stick with 235.
