north to the missile silos culminating in WY, the Dakotas, and Montana.

Now, I'm wondering if Yellowstone won't do us all a "favor," and that Supervolcano take out the majority of all of us west of the Mississippi (directly) and far more from the sulfurous effects, direct and indirect. I mean it has only been 2.08 million years since it last erupted, so, who knows? As with the nuke attack, it would likely be fast for most of us.

Sparsely populated region with lots of exposed lava. Even in Eritrea to the North there's not a lot of people.

Indicates an uptick of volcanic activity in an precarious location. This volcano is very close to the divergent fault-line running through the Red sea.
