Has she reached a point where she can go no further?
There are rumors in the media today that she may be "fired". Is Trump attempting to intimidate her into submission? Up to this point, she has followed a lot of questionable orders. Has she reached a breaking point?
But, it is possible that not all is well in Trumpland.

(12,330 posts)Might mean the message to sycophants is seeping into remaining brain cells:
Unlike The Boss, you are afforded NO immunity to law-breaking, double-dealing, lying to Congress. The Days of Reckoning are coming.
Of course, I'll believe it when I see it but . . . if MTG saw the writing on the wall, I wouldn't be surprised if others follow as Don-the-Con is evermore weakened, his dementia can no longer be sane-washed and his poll numbers go deeper into the abyss.
There does appear to be a shift in the wind!

(8,440 posts)If she "scrubs" the files, she is breaking the law. Now I know Trump doesn't care about breaking the law - he thinks he has a get out of jail free card. But Bondi does not have that luxury, and some of the things she's done and said recently make me believe that she is scared that this whole Epstein mess will blow up in her face and send her to jail. Personally, I think if she tries to follow through in "scrubbing" the files, it will end very badly for her.

(17,322 posts)could it be that she's finally seeing the writing on the wall and is keeping silent?
She has to know the fierce blowback she would get from both sides of the aisle if she even tried to press insurrection charges against these Congress people, hell, they'd probably impeach in the House and try, convict in the Senate and remove her from the AG position.
