Francine, the Richmond Lowe's cat, has been found!!! in Garysburg NC

This car had lived at or around a Lowe’s in downtown Richmond (near VCU) for 8 years. One day it was gone. Lowe’s and local animal support groups got right on it. I think they saw her jump up into an 18 wheeler in security cam.



The cat went missing in September after climbing aboard a loading truck and venturing to a distribution center in Garysburg, North Carolina, about 85 miles away.

“The teams at Lowe’s West Broad Street store in Richmond, Lowe’s regional distribution center in Garysburg, North Carolina, and leaders across Lowe’s corporate office did everything they possibly could to locate their missing cat, Francine, in partnership with the Richmond community,” Lowe’s said on Monday.

Lowe’s says Francine was seen on camera on Saturday evening.



“I can’t describe the feeling when we realized it was her,” said Store Manager Mike Sida, Lowe’s store manager. “We all just lit up.”
