Marine veteran with PTSD and traumatic brain injury charged in deadly North Carolina waterfront shooting

A decorated Marine veteran charged with firing an assault rifle from a boat at a waterfront bar in North Carolina, killing three people and wounding five, appeared subdued in court Monday as prosecutors said they may seek the death penalty.

District Attorney Jon David said his office had yet to review medical records but described Edge as having “significant mental health issues” after experiencing a traumatic brain injury, according to WECT News.

There's a very clear line showing MAGA rhetoric drives violence from the less-stable types. Look at the dude who shot up the LDS church, who posed in a Trump 2020 shirt. Also former military. And the evidence shows the LDS shooter is just one in a VERY long list of violent, murderous reich-wing nutjobs driven to act by it. And some of the people acting on it don't even the excuse of "diagnosed mental health issues".
