Judge halted Trump Adm from federalizing ANY out-of-state National Guard troops to Oregon incl from CA...

I really was getting confused but this article makes all the doings a bit more clear--Not to see if Trump will send in the Nat Guard over this Judges orders?? Maybe he has already--?? I know he has ICE men in Portland already.

PS: I had to chuckle at the phase "dressed in military gear" [ like it was a Halloween costume!!]

A federal judge in Oregon late Sunday halted the Trump administration from federalizing any out-of-state National Guard troops for deployment to Oregon, including hundreds from California.

U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut held an emergency hearing after California joined Oregon’s lawsuit earlier in the day.

Gov. Gavin Newsom celebrated the ruling, calling it a “victory for American democracy itself.” In a post on X, he wrote, “Trump’s abuse of power won’t stand.”

The broader order comes a day after the same judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deploying Oregon’s National Guard in response to protests outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland..................

Funny thing -- I first read that as "feralizing", and thought that was a pretty appropriate description of what is happening w/ICE ....

Should go down in history as an incredible hero!

Her and her family paid a HUGE price, damn it!

I'm rewatching "Outlander" on Netflix. Its a fantastic mesmerizing story about a woman who takes a historical odyssey. During America's revolutionary war all the judges went into hiding and the justice system collapsed.

Will that happen here?

But people are fighting back, the judges are not letting Trump get away with everything he tries. Now if we could only take back the House and Senate (we'll need both), we might put a stop to Trump and this Project 2025 insanity.

Then we start cleaning house, starting with the Supreme Court. They all go. Yes, even the liberal ones. Fresh start. We arrest a goodly number of Congress, all the Jan 6 people again (back to the hoosgow!), all of the P25 morons, anyone who supported Trump, like Steven Miller. Elon Musk. Trials and executions would be ideal, just like Nuremburg. Crimes against humanity, treason, insurrection and anything else we can put to it.

Then MAGA Is illegal, militias, anyone trying to destroy this country. Media is broken down, assets of anyone who helped this mess get here are frozen and used to rebuild what was destroyed. Strict, very, very strict gun laws.
