Hamas agrees to release hostages

I wonder if Netanyahu will escalate attacks once he has the hostages returned safely. There's no barrier in place now.

Oct 3 (Reuters) - Hamas said on Friday it had agreed to release all Israeli hostages, alive or dead, under the terms of U.S. President Donald Trump's Gaza proposal, and signalled readiness to immediately enter mediated negotiations to discuss the details.

it is long overdue but I don't see Netanyahu negotiation in good faith and I don't think Trump will do anything other than talk.

Even if there is a treaty of some sort, has the US ever kept their word for any treaty in our history? And I don't see Israel agreeing to a 2-state solution.

Watch what someone does, not what they say......

Even after October 7th, if they released the hostages and laid down their arms, much of the death and destruction could have been avoided.

What did they accomplish with October 7?

60000 Palestinian’s are dead, at least 1200+ Israelis are dead, they contributed to trump’s win, and the fate of a two-state solution is very uncertain.

Was it worth all those lives Hamas?

They don't deserve any praise for this so long after they were taken and so many were tortured and horrifically killed up close and personal.

genocide Joe, and Kamala protesters are happy. They too have blood on their hands, and the very real possibility that the Christian nationalists will take over our government, and the loss of our Democracy.

Hamas is a death cult. They have no incentive to let them go and every reason to ensure they die miserably.

Furthmore they’ll never agree to disarm. Betting this deal is already DOA since many of the provisions have been struck down multiple times before by Hamas

My take: They've studied and gotten counsel about how Putin strung Trump along for quite a while, and they've mastered the art of that kind of deal.

Why are people falling for this? Netanyahu and Trump told the world their plan already and this isn’t it. Their plan doesn't leave a single resident of Gaza left, they will all be killed or ejected.

Stop falling for this nonsense when they literally told us what’s going to happen several months ago.

I think they are both just shining on with Trump, playing him for a fool because it is so damn easy.
