The Trump confession
...from Olbermann today, whose rants are always wise to consume in small, infrequent doses (and no, I won't post his self-congratulating, Democrat party-bashing podcast here), nonetheless, coming up with some good points:
Olbermann:
...did you see Trump inadvertently confessing to January 6th?
Yeah. The aforementioned John Solomon completely repurposed an FBI report that 274 or 275 or more than 250 bureau agents went to the capital during January 6th. The magnets keep changing the number.
Solomon, then Glenn Beck, then other outlets immediately branded them as plainclothesed plants. FBI sent plainclothesed plants provocators, thus creating 274 new Ray eps provocator conspiracy theories. Trump then posted one of these articles.
Oops.
Let me see if I've got this straight. Trump's FBI 2025, run by a Trump appointee as Trump FBI director, leaks that Trump's FBI 2021 run by the previous Trump appointee as Trump FBI director sent 274 Trump FBI agents into the crowd on January 6 to foment a Trump coup on Trump's behalf, while Trump controlled the FBI, and Trump controlled the DOJ, and Trump controlled law enforcement, and Trump controlled the military.
Well, thanks for the confession. The Trump confession, Trump.
