Then again, support might be an inch deep, but it's still a mile wide.
I doubt we ever could count on the military to remove him, some things are too deeply ingrained. What I'm afraid of is his turning the military against us, which is the more likely course of action, martial law declared in every single big city. I think that's what TP is afraid of, too, which is why he's promoting the passive aggressive approach.
Most people are going to be forced into that mode because the tariffs will make it impossible to buy much new stuff. Kids are going to have to get used to yard sale, thrift shop, and hand me down clothes and adults are going to have to rediscover the lost art of mending rather than replacing.
Pro tip: you can get use out of pre work leather shoes, just pick a day you're going to be indoors all day, put the shoes on, and soak your shod feet in warm water. Squish around in wet shoes all day. As they dry, they'll conform to whatever foot is inside them. Stuff with newspaper overnight, then they should be ready to wear for the rest of their lives. A little polish or saddle soap will make them quite presentable. Yes, I did this when I was a kid.
