Will Trump use a shutdown to gut the government and consolidate more power in his dictatorship?

Just asking; not sure what the Democrats should do.

These people think in one direction without considering the unknown. It isn't up to us to furnish them with additional scenarios. They have a goal in mind, it is a reduction in force. Let's not help them overcome the obstacles to getting their way. They will act like a car chasing dog only to find out catching it reveals they never thought about that part.

Shutting down the government back in March until we got protections for the social safety net made a hell of a lot of sense and even some Magats would have been behind us.

Now the horses are out of the barn, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, are being gutted by law.

It's a lot harder to get the horses back in the barn rather than not to open the door and let them out in the first place.

Now our bargaining chip is reimbursements to Obamacare which is set to expire, the rest has been made into law. Correct me if I'm wrong but undoing a law is much tougher than not passing it in the first place.
