Was Charlie Kirk's funeral a political rally or was it ...

I will make assertions about what right wingers are saying without linking.

A common trope among progressives is that Charlie Kirk's funeral was political rally.
And so it was, but the interesting bit isn't right wingers trying to deny it.

It's that they are describing it as a ... revival.

from everything I've seen. I didn't watch, for obvious reasons besides the fact that I didn't want to be cleaning up vomit from the rug (I cleaned up enough of that stuff in my mom and nursing days).

I did NOT watch this event but I saw that the only family member to speak was the Widow. This was NOT a memorial but a MAGA grifting session.

How were Jimmy Kimmel's controversial remarks about the political reaction to Kirk's death any more offensive than the pyrotechnics display that erupted onstage as the widow appeared? Who agrees to this vulgar display for their dead spouse?
