Trump is consolidating power mainly in areas where it's relatively easier for him to do so.

Trump is consolidating power mainly in areas where it's relatively easier for him to do so. When he faces real resistance, it's a different story. Stop acting like he's invincible.

Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson didn't just speak out against government censorship on principle. It is a sign that they are getting worried about the damage 47 is doing to the Republican brand. And Cruz, he's worried that Talarico may well be the Junior Senator from Texas if the downward spiral continues (I look forward to the delight of seeing Talarico address his Senior colleague).

I think almost any Republican who won by less than 10% has got to be getting worried. And as 47 falls further in the polls (and I firmly believe there is nowhere to go but down for him), we will see more cracks in the MAGA coalition.

And as things begin to crumble around the edges, the stage is set for some event to kick off a "have you no decency" moment, and the tide could turn big time.
