Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsD.C. area residents hoping to watch the return of Jimmy Kimmel Live on their local ABC station will be out of luck.
WJLA, the ABC-affiliate in the region, will not be airing Kimmel's show. Instead, they will preempt the show as part of a decision by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns WJLA and other ABC stations around the country. Sinclair said it was having ongoing discussions about Kimmel's return.

(66,851 posts)in analog and in digital, that Baltimore TV stations come in stronger than DC TV stations. No, I dont know why that is.
Even in normal times, were I to watch the show, it would be on Baltimores WMAR than on DCs WJLA.
For a change, Im watching Jimmy Kimmel now. The show usually doesnt do anything for me, but I did want to check out the monologue. He was in tears.
