In a new twist, Moscow attacked by drones...

Normally Ukraine has been attacking ruzzias oil and military infrastructure with great success. ruzzias income to fund the war has been greatly reduced. Long lines to get gas in ruzzia recently.
Here is a vid of the attack and ruzzian jamming at work. Quick 3 ½ min vid.

A cargo plane was filmed flying startlingly low over high-rise apartment buildings in a Moscow suburb, several verfiied [sic] videos posted on Russian social media last night showed.

Russian media reported many warnings of drones approaching had caused the capital’s airports to halt flights and the closure of Sheremetyevo Airport, north of the city.

In a series of posts on Telegram overnight and into this morning, Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin said at least 36 drones had been destroyed by Russian air defences. He did not report any damage or injuries.

Three videos we’ve verified were all filmed in the southwestern suburbs of Moscow.

They shoot down their own on occasion. The boys with the BUC's Pansir and S300's get trigger happy sometimes. Russia has shot down its own aircraft, including an Su-27 fighter jet over Crimea in March 2024 and a Su-25 attack jet over the Donetsk region in June 2025.
There have also been reports of a Russian Su-25 friendly fire incident in the Donbas in October 2024 and a Russian fighter shooting down its own S-70 drone in October 2024.
Human error being a cited cause for the incidents.
