If anyone knows what time the rapture is on Tuesday, can you share that time or schedule? I'd like to plan my day. Depending on the time, I nay be able to sleep in because I don't need to go to work or I might be able to take a long lunch or my commute home might be much faster. I may need to hit the liquor store early as I expect there will be considerable sell outs and short supplies due to all of the celebrating as we reclaim our country once they have all been taken to the great beyond. Thanks!

I turn 65 tomorrow, so I asked AI "What does it mean if the rapture falls on my 65th birthday?"
Oddly, all the answers assumed I'd be among the raptured. It also apparently assumed I would be retiring from work, something I don't expect to be able to afford doing anytime in the next decade.
So much for AI.
A symbolic birthday
A 65th birthday marks a traditional retirement age, representing a time of transition and reflection. A symbolic interpretation might be that the Rapture on this particular day is a final and ultimate transition. Instead of retiring from your earthly profession, you would be transitioning from mortal to eternal life.
No meaning
Some theologians would argue that the specific timing has no meaning at all, as the Rapture is not a personal event tied to an individual's life but a global event involving all believers. The focus is on the collective change that believers experience together, rather than on personal milestones.
A metaphor for the end of a life phase
Another way to view this is as a metaphor for the end of a major phase of life. In this interpretation, your 65th birthday represents the conclusion of your working years. The coinciding of the Rapture with this milestone would symbolize not an end but a new beginning in God's eternal kingdom.
A reminder of the unexpected
Others might suggest that the significance lies in the fact that it occurred on a day of celebration, emphasizing the sudden and unexpected nature of the Rapture. It is meant to remind believers that the event can happen at any time, even on a day that would normally be filled with earthly celebration

(11,888 posts)We both just missed Bilbo Baggins birthday by a day!
When I read the hobbit in my youth, was quite disappointed that my birthday was just a day off Bilbo Baggins's. Wouldn't have bothered me if it has been totally different. Who can fathom the mind of a kid?

If the rapture is tomorrow, I fear we'll be stuck with the Christian Nationalists.
But at least we'll finally have divine proof that they are truly Un-Christian!

(11,888 posts)At least according to AI it is:
AI Overview
There is no factual basis for a rapture on September 23, 2025; the date is based on online rumors, particularly on TikTok and YouTube, linked to the Jewish Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), dreams and prophecies from individuals like South African pastor Joshua Mhlakela, and interpretations of current events and astronomical phenomena, despite the biblical teaching that the timing of the Lord's return is unknown.
Origin of the Prediction
Viral Social Media Claims:
The prediction for September 23, 2025, has spread rapidly on platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
Dreams and Prophecies:
South African pastor Joshua Mhlakela claimed to have received a dream from Jesus stating the rapture would occur on September 23 or 24, 2025.
Feast of Trumpets:
The date aligns with the Jewish Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), a festival where a ram's horn (shofar) is blown. Some connect the trumpet blast in biblical passages about the Lord's return with this Jewish holiday.
