Turning Point USA Calls Kirk's Assassination A Miracle

I saw the article on my home page so I clicked on it. Yes, they say, there was no exit wound through Charlie's neck which "would have killed people behind him." The 30.06 bullet which kills moose and elk couldn't penetrate Kirk's neck because his bone density is tougher than a moose's I guess. The bullet was retrieved under the skin says the coroner.

That's a miracle they claim and then the article goes on to make the claim that Kirk protected people even in his death and died with a smile on his face knowing he was going to heaven.

I am certainly not an expert on bone density so the claim that Kirk's bone density was such that it stopped a 30.06 bullet leads me to say, OK.

Jeffrey Epsten must have had weak bone density seeing as 3 bones in his neck were crushed from his strangulation, strike what I just posted, I mean crushed from his hanging.

How far into never-never land does someone have to go to believe his neck stopped a bullet and saved the lives of how many behind him?

This fallacy originates from the Latin phrase "onus probandi incumbit ei qui dicit, non ei qui negat". The burden of proof is on the person who makes the claim, not on the person who denies (or questions) the claim. The fallacy of the Burden of Proof occurs when someone who is making a claim, puts the burden of proof on another party to disprove what they are claiming.

Verbal arguments where he could shout somebody down and talk over them. He didn’t really want any physical violence, but that’s what he got. today’s “Christian soldiers” are podcast freaks. They know they are safe from this particular fascist government

The priest at my church yesterday, practically gave a eulogy to Kirk for his sermon. He claimed that Kirk brought more young people to God in his 31 years than he could ever hope to do. Not shitting you, I have a Magat priest.

Kirk claimed to be a Christian, but he preached hate. It’s easy for the MAGA cult to claim Christianity, but their words and actions say otherwise.

And you sat there and listened to it? One thing that really, really gets to me is the mention of anything political in church. I am lucky that I have only had that experience 1 or 2 times because I keep church and politics separate. I don’t want to hear about politics from the pulpit and I don’t want to hear about church from the politicians.

Besides the shooter wasn't trying for a headshot he was aiming for the chest or center mass which any expert will tell you it's better than a headshot

I purposely avoided looking at violence I don't need to see, but I read analysis in various places.

No vest (I've seen pre-shot still photo). His shirt rose up in the turbulence of the air as a supersonic bullet passed nearby.

Reading up on hunting forums reveals that a 30.06 is effective for large game at ranges at least twice as far as from where CK was shot from. Some say that a 30.06 is overkill for a 200 yard shot.

Seen it plenty in Iraq. But, a 30.06 to the neck should have absolutely gone straight through. There isnt enough mass in the neck to stop a bullet of that size. The deflection of body armor doesnt really work either. If he wore a low profile Kevlar vest, the bullet wouldn't have beem deflected, it would have zipped right through the Kevlar as Kevlar isnt rated for that caliber. He would have needed to have been wearing plates and it did not look like he was wearing a plate carrier under his tshirt.

So miracle..eh no. Just pure luck that the bullet did something weird. Or maybe it impacted on the tent pole and lost enough energy that way.
