It, with the Vietnam War, helped to undermine American support for its institutions. It directly led to the mess we have today with Trump and company. Never forget that.
Watergate is still very poorly understood. Once people understand its connection with the Chennault Affair and both connected by the Vietnam War does it become clear what it was.
Nixon was a war criminal who should have been tried at The Hague.
