I'm a 48 year old woman. Most of my girlfriends in my age range (and obviously much younger) love her. Taylor Swift as a person seems fine. I could give a shit about her music. But she truly pisses off MAGA folks, which will always make me smile.
Give me some thrash metal or punk rock or L7. People like what they like and don't have to like what they don't like.

But she's an excellent storyteller, with clever wordplay and verbal misdirection that rewards careful listening.
