As the Atheltic World Championships comes to a close today - I can't help but feel sad for Olympics LA 28

The commentators were all abuzz about what we will see in LA in 3 years. Prior to trump, I was filled with excitement. When Tom Cruise performed that motorcycle stunt last year, signaling what an exciting event it would be in LA, I was jumping for joy. Now, not so much. Just thinking about how much trump will dampen the excitement, make it about him. Threaten athletes. The idiots that will be droning on about trans athletes. Harassing women that don't fit their view of what a woman should look like, as they did last Olympics. Cheering against " Woke" American athletes. Its unbelievable that you will have Americans that don't want Americans to win for America. I'm afraid it is going to be a shit show.

It was going to be the trip of a lifetime for me. Now I am not even sure I want to go. Ugh.
