FBI to Categorize Trans People (not EPSTEIN) As "Nihilistic Violent Extremist" Threat Group, Report Says (see caveat)

Caveat: sources are "anonymous" so treat with skepticism.
I'll delete if this is erroneous.
The FBI has already created an NVE (Nihilistic Violent Extremist) designation, that is very broad.
(and could be applied to much of the administration, of course)
Double posting the image because the first renders on some devices and not others. D'oh.

Applying this to trans people seems a short step (for them)
Counter-argument below:

The choice is being championed by the Heritage Foundation, which is behind Project 2025.

September 19, 2025

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is reportedly preparing to categorize transgender people as “violent extremists,” a categorization supported by organizations affiliated with Project 2025.

According to a September 18 report by independent journalist Ken Klippenstein, two anonymous national security officials said that the Bureau is discussing treating trans subjects as a subset of its new threat category, “Nihilistic Violent Extremists” (NVEs), which was created earlier this year. The Bureau defines “Nihilistic Violent Extremism” as “criminal conduct… in furtherance of political, social, or religious goals that derive primarily from a hatred of society at large and a desire to bring about its collapse by sowing indiscriminate chaos.”

Note: Every Accusation is a Confession.

Officials said that such a classification would give the Trump administration “political (and media) cover” as they escalate their anti-trans campaign in the aftermath of right-wing pundit Charlie Kirk’s death.

“They are cynically targeting trans people because the shooter’s lover was trans,” an unnamed senior intelligence official told Klippenstein. “The administration has convinced itself that the Charlie Kirk murder exposes some dark conspiracy.”

The conspiracy is to keep EPSTEIN out of the news cycle.

On one hand, try to be as factual as possible, and on the other
Put nothing past them.

As I have posted, as the "Epstein Event Horizon" approaches, expect more outrageous behavior.
And a culmination.

And he wants it to take complete control, which pays his debt to Putin.

But, having served, I understand the oath. He does not understand honor and courage. Not one bit.

There will be a "Petrov" moment.

Also, if it matters, them.us is a highly-regarded, well-funded Conde-Nast publication.

I'm not familiar with the author, but the sources cited are The Heritage Fdn and the Project 2025 crowd...you know, the folks actually making policy in this country, despite little speed bumps like "laws" and "The Constitution."

Some of us in the T part of the rainbow have been watching as the rightwing has been paying groundwork for this move. (That squeak you hear is the Overton Window cracking a bit wider.)

There are executive orders, policies, databases, and funding set up to make this happen, and some state-level laws in place, which is how trumpists have field-tested some of their most vile policies in the past before rolling them out more broadly.

I used two hosts. They behave oddly. Works on phone and computer now.

The caveat is because I am new to trolls, after all these years, and am figuring how to identify and deal with them. Still mister nice guy, but that may be changing rapidly.

Appreciate your inputs.

I obviously expect only the worst from the hate wing.

I would say that keeping Epstein out of the news cycle is a secondary aim. The primary one is to shut down free speech and to give themselves license to go after anyone at all that they can classify as a political opponent. This is something far bigger than the Epstein files, IMO.
