this woman has absolutely no understanding of what the First Amendment says.

"Congress shall make no law"...that's it! Period! How do people not get this? This is not rocket surgery.

Also numerous cases apply this to the government as a whole. The schools is in the wrong under current case law if the facts are as stated

that cannot be taken away without due process.

If she is post-probationary and under a contract, the school district may be on the hook.

...gives her more room, as it is a government entity.

At the same time, I stand by the opinion, very unpopular here, which is ok, that anyone who celebrates or justifies murder based on speech doesn't belong in a classroom.

Using the excuse of "well, he said some gun deaths are ok" is akin, IMO, to saying he deserved it.

Her posting was a widely-reported quote by Kirk, who was killed by a single rifle shot while he was talking to students, in which Kirk supported the 2nd Amendment’s right to bear arms: “I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second amendment to protect our other God-given Rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.’ – Charlie Kirk. Thoughts and prayers,” the lawsuit said.

Vaughn further posted, “[T]he WHOLE point here is that any time someone is killed fits [sic] a tragedy. Even someone I may not like. Even someone I disagree with. But instead of accepting it, why don’t we do something about it?” In further comments, (Vaughn) made clear that her comment was, “I disagree with [Kirk] and think today should not have happened. I’m sorry it did,” the lawsuit said.

That Trump can demand personal loyalty oaths or direct that Democrats can’t hold a security clearance because that’s not Congress “making a law?”

If she had gushed praise over Republicans who advocated lethal injection for everyone from Joe Biden to the urban homeless, she would have more job security than I do.
