I am saddened that Harris book is "settling scores" with many Democratic leaders. Why? (Original Post) question everything Sep 20 OP

That said, why dredge up a time that is gone?

Times change.
People change.
Places change, and
Situations change.

What worked or didn't in the past usually is the worst guide for the future.
Only universal themes (such as you might find in a psychology book) last (because human nature doesn't)

So, a little controversy sells books.

Compare Joe Biden's heartfelt "Promise me, Dad"
Who even knows it exists?

I've seen enough nit-picking and "woulda, coulda, shoulda" in life.
There's more satisfaction in understanding and sympathy, and it makes the world better.
"Seek what's we have in common rather than what's different"
It's the beginning of real dialogue and improvement.

Naaaahhhh, it doesn't sell.

I honestly wasn't expecting this from her, but in general, I always expect some type of self-sabotage from Blues.

This isn't mild stuff.

It jumps back and forth in time, so for chronological orientation:

Biden's much criticized debate performance was June 27

He dropped out and endorsed Harris on July 21

The Guardian story begins in September when she is preparing to debate tRump (it covers earlier events as well)
