"We have reason to believe that Stephen Miller chose the month of September to come to Chicago because of celebrations around Mexican Independence Day that happen here every year," Pritzker said. "It breaks my heart to report that we have been told ICE will try and disrupt community picnics and peaceful parades. Let's be clear: the terror and cruelty is the point, not the safety of anyone living here."
"[They said] they will begin operations here sometime in the coming week," Pritzker said in an exclusive interview earlier Tuesday. "That - literally after two weeks of all this talk about troops on the ground - that's the first time we've heard from the federal government on this."
In a Tuesday press conference from the White House, President Donald Trump called Chicago a "hell hole," and said he will in fact send National Guard troops in.
"If the governor of Illinois would call me up, I would love to do it,” he said. “Now, we're going to do it anyway. We have a right to do it.”
Pritzker responded by saying, "I refuse to play a reality game show with Donald Trump again."

We actually have seen this “beg me” behavior from Trump before — during the Covid pandemic. Trump is without question a sadist, and he appoints sadists to do his bidding.
If I remember correctly, he claimed he didn’t have the authority to do so.

You know, he's that genius who can supposedly remember a string of five words -- and "they said, we've never seen anything like it!"
Fox News is the worst thing that's happened to the United States since the Civil War. Hell other countries are importing Fox' brand of fascism and making it their own (see: Hungary, Russia, etc). It's scary. Fox is the enemy of freedom, common sense, and basic human decency. 
If you think all the internment camps are for the mexican's? Trump is deploying troops into blue cities so when he announces no more elections the nat. guard will already be there to quell the riots. Anyone rioting(protesting) will be arrested and off to the camp with you.
This is my fear. I'm a registered voter. My address is known in a voter database....is it so unreasonable...not to be a possibility.
