Whatever funny guy. Out of the hundreds and thousands of democrats serving in this country, just a handful are willing to put it on the line for the most important part of this country, its constituents. Gavin Newsom is one of them, certainly not Schumer, Pelosi, the majority of the senate and house democrats, so I welcome anything we can do to disrupt the bullshit being spread by the republicans and their kind.

You take some established wisdom, make an educated guess, make your pitch and see if it resonates, if not try another. Rinse, repeat, until something sticks. repubs do this all the time, remember when the big scare was critical race theory? I think that didn't play as well, maybe it sounded a little too overtly racist having race explicitly spelled out, but then they switched it out to DEI, it sounds less racist, and can include trans. They seem to have settled on this being the effective angle for them. They decided that by the responses they got, Just like advertising works.

(pardon the pun) from Trump. He nicked the 'untouchable' Trump repeatedly. That is how to do it then people want to roll up their sleeves and take action daily to fight. It is not blood lust on the part of democrats but a desire for a just country and a leader who can dominate Trump that makes people 'git her done' (for 3.5 years straight). Everyone will have to be mobilized. Like WWII (that wasn't about bloodlust on the part of those fighting Hitler, it was what needed to be done and Churchill dominated and led the way).

And we are making a very good showing.

must realize that there are various groups supporting the Republicans and different tactics will work for different groups. What works on White Christian Nationalists in Oklahoma may be different from what works on techbro libertarians in Silicon Valley. And the most that we can expect against the Republican voters may be to get them to stay home on election day. And what works on those groups may be different from what engages and educates the nonvoting one third.

And that we should all support all of these tactics.

The main all consuming concern was the Great Depression. He told his advisors to try everything. If something doesn't work, try something else.

That's what we have to do. Nothing like this has ever happened in this country before. We have to keep trying.
