Hey Gavin, I don't give shit about the 2028 nomination yet.

The 2026 mid-terms are what matters. I appreciate the work you are doing, the CA redistricting and the trolling Krasnov, energizing our base. You have a top notch press team: Attack! Attack!! Attack!!! is exactly what we need. Of all the Governors in contention, you are speaking out the loudest. I may prefer a more progressive candidate, but right here, right now, I tip my hat to you Sir.

Of course, I left off Jasmine Crockett, Gov Pritzker, and others raising hell. The above have achieved national recognition.

I'm not sure why he doesn't get the same kind of attention as Sanders, AOC, Crockett, Pritzker, etc. To me he has been more consistent than Cory Booker.

Chris Murphy goes all in on funding bill boycott as Dems seek bipartisanship

The politically ambitious Connecticut Democrat is walking away from bipartisan government funding negotiations as his party clamors for a seat at the table.

Murphy calls for CT ban on private equity ownership in health care

U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., called on Connecticut to take a “hard line” and ban private equity ownership of hospitals, citing deteriorating conditions at three facilities owned by Prospect Medical Holdings, a hospital operator formerly backed by private equity investors.

Sen. Chris Murphy, in CT forum, vows to continue crusade against Trump policies: 'Worth fighting for'
This one was back in March. He's been speaking out early and often.

STAMFORD — U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy has been quite vocal since President Donald Trump started his second term, railing against what he says is unprecedented corruption in the White House. But he still finds reasons to rejoice.

It’s just that Newsom has added technicolor and a little hot sauce to the mix. In the height of the depression America turned to Hollywood for a little color and laughter. I think the governor remembers that lesson.

But he's also definitely setting himself up for 2028. And he seems to be the only person standing defiant. It'll be a long time before the actual primary vote, but he has my attention right now.
