Shhh...don't tell anyone, but Newsom's approval rating has

shot WAY up since he started his trump parodies and redistricting fight! He was at thirty eight and now he's at fifty six! (Heard on local news channel here in CA)

Something tells me Newsom is not going to stop anytime soon!

"both sides are the same" meme. Their question rarely address how the GOP is destroying America, Trump's lies, corruption and pedophilia.
And taht is what Dems MUST say, when asked those tepid questions that are created within the GOP framework.

AND DO NOT simply respond - turn it around in the reporter - ask ," like why do you ask that question? Why do you ignore Trump's pedophilia?" etc. Make the reporter explain why they asked that question.

The usual scenario is to let each reporter ask a question, then move on to the next reporter, but this lets reporter ask "Spin" questions that are basically "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" Questions. Democrats must end this by challenging whoever is asking - creating a conversation, not a Q & A session..

I've been watching some vid shorts of a young Democrat fielding calls from MAGAs, and he has a simple tactic "explain your self, what do you believe and why". And the MAGAs always fail because they do not think - it's simply parroted ideology. And this shoud be how these spin merchant reporters (DO you still beat your wife?) can be shut down.

And able to dictate the conversation is what is needed. Say some inflamatory statements, and then knock trump out, over and over. Trump will never sue anyone for calling him a pedophile. What is he going to do? It is almost impossible to prove defamation to that extent. Plus, you could prove it with discovery.

Millions of us are not staying silent, but are joining in protests. There’s a rapid response notification of you want to join those who are protesting, filming, and standing in witness to the ICE thugs — that’s if you don’t mind getting arrested yourself.

Some of our elected officials are getting arrested and beat up. My own California Senator was shoved to the floor and handcuffed while he was in a federal building on business, because he tried to ask questions during a press conference.

If you have an issue with my Governor — spit it out. But I’d sure like to know what you’d like to see done and how, and who else is doing what that you do approve of. And if it’s effective.

Thank you.

But if my quick research is correct, Newsom got 59% of vote in California, now he’s at 56%. That doesn’t make me confident he’ll do well in close swing states we need to win.

Seriously, I’d be thrilled for Newsom to win in 2028. He’s just got to do better to win states we need. And, I’m not sure there is anyone in a better position than Newsom to do better.

It is simple. Americans (most Democrats) are sick of flowery, vague rhetoric about the sanctity of the Constitution and such. This is not a college debate team where you try to score points to get an "A". Trump and the fascist he leads, is an existential threat and our elected Dems, for the most part, have been unwilling to face that head-on for 15 years.

And Newsom has been among those not taking it nearly seriously enough, having recently come through his Joe Rogan kumbaya phase. Democrats HATED that move. And they are now celebrating that at least one prominent elected Dem is willing to go on the attack in terms Trump and the MAGA people understand. Let's hope the rest of the party gets it soon.

It is why he posts these stupid photoshopped pics of himself. It is the same reason putin has boudoir photo shoots of himself on a bare horseback. They become gods to their base.

When Kim Jon-Il was dictator in North Korea, his people would literally sob when they met him.

Americans have no idea the power of brainwashing, and why trump does all this stupid looking shit, because his base equates him to a god. And that is not hyperbole.
