WE KNOW that the ONLY WAY that MAGAts can enjoy their vittles at Cracker Barrel is to gaze lovingly at the fictional cartoon grampy on the restaurant's logo. He reinforces the importance of chewing their food before swallowing, and wiping their grease-stained mouths on their napkin before taking their cousin back to the trailer. And NOW, the "woke mind virus" in America WINS AGAIN as the BELOVED IMAGINARY CARTOON GRAMPY receives a brutal Apprentice-style "YOU'RE FIRED!"
Don Jr. isn't high, libs...he's HIGH ON LIFE and MAD AS HELL at this TRAVESTY, taking a break from vacuuming up lines with his noble nepo baby snout to ask on Twitter, "WTF is wrong with Cracker Barrel," and at the end of his sentence types TWO question marks and an exclamation point, so you KNOW this has him REALLY CONFUSED. (you can see his heartbreaking tweet at the link I provided).
ALL OF THE FREEDOM-SHATTERING DETAILS ARE HERE: https://www.thedailybeast.com/maga-loses-it-over-new-cracker-barrel-logo/
If there's ONE THING the MAGAts love more than getting lucky with their cousin, it's being supervised during their meal by an inanimate fictional cartoon grampy mascot who watches over and protects them from coast to coast.
And now he's GONE. Just like Ashli Babbit. She'll never crawl through a window after being warned again, and MAGAts all across America have had their ONE REFUGE FROM "WOKE"...cartoon Cracker Barrel Grampy...taken away from them in a similarly brutal and inhuman manner.
I'd like to write more, this being my 20,000th post, but I am too emotionally distraught to go on.

(16,741 posts)you'd think it would be the association between "Cracker" and the white man sitting next to the barrel. Cracker was a derogatory name for white Southern men who were racist. Maybe the new CEO was thinking more about attracting people who aren't MAGAts. They aren't especially known for leaving generous tips.
As an aside, I have a story about something relevant to this. One Thanksgiving I was invited to a house where there was a maga guy who spent about ten minutes telling a story about how he went to a Cracker Barrel and how he ordered a diet Coke but the teenaged waitress brought him a regular Coke and he knew it was a regular Coke and not a diet Coke because he could tell since he was supposedly the expert on discerning a diet Coke from a Coke. He told everyone there about how he chastised her profusely for getting it wrong and not only that but "I left her a dime for a tip." I'm serious when I tell you this story went on (in a very loud voice of course) for ten minutes and at the end he just looked so proud of himself.

(63,418 posts)To be able to recover from a blow so horrible and shocking, and yet to retain the ability to educate and instruct the slatternly minx who dared to stain his lips with regular Coke, rather than the Diet Coke he had specifically requested!!!

(3,646 posts)My oldest friend and former housemate's favorite topic of conversation was whining and bitching about her dissatisfaction with her most recent restaurant visit...it was as if, being able to bitch about her dining experiences was the most important thing about her. Pretty pathetic. I love her, but oftentimes, I just don't like her.

(126,470 posts)"I think you made a mistake, I asked for diet", would have takn care of the situation. His behaviour was rude, bullying, bordering on abusive, and he was proud of it. Asshole, period.
People who are not diabetic order diet drinks for many reasons.

(16,015 posts)Two things can be true at the same time...
the guy's a hateful bully, and serving a sugary drink to someone who asked for sugar-free can be dangerous, can harm someone, and can result in a lawsuit in a worst case scenario.

(20,056 posts)...If I had seen it without the MAGA commentary, I'd think "Hmmm. Plain." Then I'd get on with my business.
But the MAGA social media posts have tried to tie in all kinds of anti-woke, anti-DEI, anti-LGBTQ, anti- everything that's not Trump.
They got worked up over it, and I am pretty much ambivalent / apathetic.

(20,736 posts)They refuse to change their logo, and it's their original. I hated when Instagram and Amazon changed theirs. I wish they would go back.
