Maxwell might just be stupid enough

to believe, if she says Crumb the 1st wasn't involved and she gets her pardon, that they wouldn't still go after her to silence her permanently once she was released. It's like one crook believing if he just gives up all the money to his crooked accomplice that he'll walk away rather than be silenced.

But Maxwell is an example of how having wealth and an education doesn't mean you make wise choices in life. Because of her father she never really had to work a day in her life and could have continued on a life of leisure. But the idle rich can become drunk with their power, position, wealth etc. and they commit all sorts of horrible acts.

Her best opportunity for herself, once arrested, would have been to lay it all out there in public. Every bit of it. Then the prosecution could do what it wanted one way or another but she would no longer have been holding any secrets that would make her a target for someone to eliminate her. Bad choice. Sick, depraved, educated and wealthy and still so unwise.

1. For her sake, she should have a backup plan of information release in the event of her death to deter being suicided.

But really, She, Epstein (and very likely Trump) were the main perpetrators, so prosecutors wouldn't necessarily be interested in going after others, unless that was just for extortion.

To be clear, I doubt that Trump was centrally engaged in recruiting individual girls and grooming them for prostitution. But this was not a sex trafficking crime. It was a kompromat crime and a money laundering crime, that used prostitution as bait. You don't get hundreds of millions of dollars in bank transfers for a prostitution operation. Maybe 1 million, even 2 million if you are really busy. Not hundreds of millions. But you CAN get lots of money if you have spicy kompromat that can be used against world leaders to cause them to change policies when faced with extortion.

We know that the KGB was actively grooming Trump, beginning about 5 years before the Epstein enterprise really got going. Trump's main role could well have been to help Epstein entrap potentially important people. Trump has been blackmailing people his whole life. This was a natural for him.

him to always keep yourself at least one level removed from giving direct orders. I think Crumb the 1st has been going a step further and further down the sexual deviance path all his life. The Access Hollywood tape clearly lays out his beliefs about what he felt is acceptable conduct for himself. I think when he got around Epstein the two of them were of a kind so to speak and Epstein allowed him the chance to act on his urges regarding younger females. Think of how many women are out there today who haven't come forward regarding what was done to them at the hands of Epstein, Maxwell and Crumb The 1st because they see what has happened for those who did. The victims who came forward never got justice and still haven't.
