with your disclosure that you served in Ukraine. I'm Slavic descent and both maternal and paternal grandparents had the prescience to leave Czechoslovakia in the early 1900's to make a life here.

Not because Ukraine is a Slavic nation, but yes, they are brothers and sisters, many of the Orthodox Christian Faith. However, I grieve for any human being suffering at the hands of others. All of whom created in the Image of God. His Crown of Creation. Any human being.

So, I am grateful for your presence, words of wisdom and encouragement wherever thsy appear.

No Kings

for a few weeks and it WILL be huge and I believe it will be even bigger than the original Women's March 2017 which was the largest mass protest in history. There are 2 in downtown San Diego alone.

The Hands Off! April 5th protest had about 5.2 million people in 1,400 cities. NO KINGS is already bigger...over 1,400 protests are planned and there are 2 weeks to go.

The MSM didn't even cover it. Rachel Maddow was the only person who featured it in the news.

I just finished making a giant taco to stick on one side of my sign. Since ICE raided a San Diego restaurant yesterday people are pissed off!!! I bet the number of San Diego residents attending the protests will be very large. They forced the ICE agents to get go away as a flash mob gathered to support the community.

I may head out to Philly on the 11th and stay the duration. If not, I'll at least be in Portland, OR. Either should be a real romp. This is big and I want to be a part of this history. Any act in defiance of this tyranny is worthy of my best effort and I want to be on the front line.

From 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, prime time for protesting. I hope to get out in the morning. It's important - not to send a message to Trump, who'd ignore it even if he did notice - but to the rest of America's people. I may be naive, but I still believe the great majority of the American people are good people. Some are deluded. Even more are misinformed, or underinformed. A message so loud it cannot be ignored is what's called for at this time.
